Force is the first topic mentioned in the ICSE Physics Class
10 Syllabus and this chapter require conceptual learning because after evaluating the board question papers, mostly, you can expect numerical and subjective questions. The numerical are based on scenarios, principles and examples. The
subjective questions are in the form of definitions, short answers and
opinions.
My relentless pursuit to search for the best electronic resources on Force offered a wide range of online results, however, I wanted to add such resources that are completely free and equally add value to learning. After evaluating the resources on their intent and their content I have hand-picked below materials and have added them for this topic: Force. The resources include videos, articles and book solutions and sample papers. To my understanding, these resources are creatively built and they serve their purpose very well, especially the reviews/ comments posted on these resources are gratifying, so I feel it is worth sharing with all of you by adding them to my blog.

💥ICSE Physics Class 10 Syllabus on Force💥
💥Turning forces concept - Elementary introduction of translational and
rotational motions.
💥Moment of a force - Moment (turning effect) of a force, also called torque and its CGS and SI
units; common examples - door, steering wheel, bicycle pedal, etc. clockwise and anti-clockwise moments.
clockwise and anti-clockwise moments.
💥Forces in equilibrium - Conditions for a body to be in equilibrium (translational and
rotational); principle of moment and its verification using a metre rule
suspended by two spring balances with slotted weights hanging from it; *[simple
numerical problems].
💥Centre of gravity - Centre of gravity (qualitative only) with examples of some regular
bodies and irregular lamina.
💥Uniform circular motion - As an example of constant speed, though
acceleration (force) is present. Differences between centrifugal and
centripetal force.
*[Discussions using simple
examples and simple numerical problems].
🙂Resources On ForcE🙂
🙂The first resource below offers fundamentals to - Turning forces concept, Moment of a force, Forces in equilibrium & Uniform circular motion. The Google slide below contains definitions with examples, pictures and short videos that will help you develop a better understanding of the terms and expressions.
🙂Visual learning has become a popular form of learning and today, the below videos are well crafted as per the topics mentioned in ICSE Physics Class 10 syllabus and to suit a larger audience the videos are in Hindi. There is a saying which goes “A thousand teachers, a thousand methods” so similarly, each video posted below has a different approach, teaching methods are unique and lucid in their own way. The topics mentioned in the syllabus are precisely covered with conceptual learning but a small drawback would be that the videos are quite lengthy and I would highly recommend that you keep a pen and notebook handy so that you note down all the necessary points while watching the video.
💥The first video below is from Anoop Sir, he runs a channel - PHYSICS with Anoop Sir on Youtube. This video covers the entire chapter on Force and its subtopics as mentioned in ICSE Physics Class 10 syllabus. The video creates a classroom learning environment. A lot of enthusiasm can be seen in his teaching from the beginning to the end of this video, the major highlights of the video are topic wise discussion and its importance - what sort of questions can be expected from the relevant topics, introduction to formulations and explanation of important examples. The teaching methodology is simple and clear which makes it easy to understand.

💥The other video below is from Alakh Pandey and I would like to keep my readers apprised that Alakh Pandey is a popular YouTuber, he runs a free coaching channel - Physics Wallah on YouTube with 2 million-plus subscribers. Alakh has become a popular figure among students not just in India but in other countries like Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The below video is on Force: Moment of Force, Centre of Gravity & Uniform Circular motion and this video offers a crash course on the topic. There are a lot of elements that add life to the subject, on completion of each topic, you will see him solving previous year ICSE board question papers so that you get an idea what sort of questions can be expected from the relevant topics.
